Resumo

A complexidade das obras de arquitetura e urbanismo nas últimas décadas exige que sejam utilizadas novas ferramentas para geração e representação espacial, que possibilitem a comunicação entre os diversos fatores que compõe os projetos na atualidade. Observa-se que, se por um lado a variedade das ferramentas disponíveis possibilita o aumento da qualidade projetiva, por outro, surge certa dificuldade dos profissionais e alunos da área para escolher e combinar tais ferramentas de forma adequada. Nesse sentido, este artigo tem como objetivo identificar e categorizar as principais estratégias de tecnologias digitais de representação, bem como ilustrar a articulação entre elas para facilitar tais escolhas. Por fim, discute-se, a partir da inclusão do ensino dessas tecnologias no processo de formação do arquiteto, a importância de integrar estes conhecimentos técnicos com a construção do pensamento arquitetônico e urbanístico, considerando os diversos fatores envolvidos no processo de projeto e a importância de basear-se em um pensamento crítico e reflexivo.

Abstract

The complexity of the works of architecture and urbanism of the last decades requires the use of new tools for generation and spatial representation, which enable the communication of the various factors that make up the projects today. It is observed that if, on the one hand, the variety of tools available makes it possible to increase the projective quality, on the other hand, there is a certain difficulty for professionals and students in the area to choose and combine such tools properly. In this sense, this article aims to identify and categorize the main strategies of digital technologies of representation, as well as illustrating the articulation between them to facilitate such choices. Finally, from the inclusion of teaching these technologies in the process of training the architect, the importance of integrating this technical knowledge with the construction of architectural and urban thinking is acknowledge, considering the various factors involved in the design process and the importance of basing yourself in critical and reflective thinking.
