Resumo

Este artigo de revisão propõe uma reflexão sobre design e as constantes transformações e adaptações sofridas pelos periódicos diários com as reformas gráficas e no sentido morfológico do produto impresso. Hoje o jornal representa um complexo editorial, que através de gerações se fortaleceu como um grande agente cultural, capaz de levar a informação aos leitores de maneira veloz e harmoniosa com o design de página. Uma investigação histórica da revolução gráfica e da convergência tecnológica que marcaram o design e a imprensa brasileira no século xx é importante para o entendimento da evolução do jornal no processo de comunicação contemporâneo. Os apontamentos das condições operacionais e evolução da mídia jornal servirão como bases técnicas para o designer no processo de planejamento e produção gráfica da notícia.

Abstract

This review article analyzes about consequence on design and the constants Transformations and adaptations suffered by the daily periodic with the graphics reforms and in the morphologic direction from the printed product. Nowadays, the newspaper represents an editorial complex which, through generations, has become stronger, as a great cultural agent, able to take information to the readers, in a very fast and harmonious way with the page design. A historical investigation of the graphical revolution and the technological influences which determined the page design and brazilian press in the 20th century is important for the understanding of the newspaper evolution in the contemporaneous communication process. The results of the 1 mestre em design, unoeste – Universidade do Oeste Paulista, Presidente Prudente – SP. Operational conditions and media evolution will be used as technical basis for the designer in the planning process and graphical production of the news.
