Resumo
Este trabalho apresenta uma análise geométrica dos eixos rotacionais do cubo e de planos secantes em função desses mesmos eixos, propondo uma leitura de formas poliédricas regulares e semi-regulares inscritas no hexaedro regular. Propõe que a articulação entre eixos rotacionais e seções planas pode se constituir num importante instrumento de análise e pesquisa que possibilita a geração de infinitas outras configurações, apresentando-se como mais uma ferramenta disponível para arquitetos, designers e outros profissionais envolvidos com a organização espacial da forma.

Abstract
This work presents a geometric analysis of the rotational cube axes and cutting planes regarding this same axes, suggesting a reading of the regular and semi-regular polyhydric form inscribed on the regular hexahedra. It suggests that the articulation between rotational axes and sectioning planes can become an important instrument of analysis and investigation that makes the creation of infinite other configurations real, showing itself as another available tool for architects, designers and other professionals in the area of spatial organization of the form.
