ANÁLISE DE EMBALAGENS DE PRODUTOS ENLATADOS COM DEFICIENTES VISUAIS

Resumo
Este artigo está embasado na dissertação de Mestrado do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Design da FAAC – Faculdade de Arquitetura, Artes e Comunicação da Universidade Estadual Paulista “Júlio de Mesquita Filho”, campus de Bauru, SP. O estudo foi realizado uma pesquisa experimental com pessoas portadores de deficiência visual, na entidade Olhos da Alma de Jaboticabal, SP, para analisar a usabilidade de produtos alimentícios enlatados. Apontando as dificuldades encontradas durante a identificação e o uso, devido à ausência do código Braille nas embalagens. O design pode contribuir, com relevância social, para o acesso da informação adequada, estimulando o conhecimento e a cognição. A pesquisa experimental foi aplicada com vinte deficientes visuais e buscou-se avaliar como ocorre o reconhecimento do produto e as dificuldades encontradas para identificá-los.

Abstract
This study is based in the master´s degree paper- After-Graduation Program In Design of the FAAC- Architecture, Arts and Communication College of the State University of São Paulo “Júlio de Mesquita Filho”, Bauru campus- SP. The experimental research was carried out with bearers of visual deficiency in “Olhos da Alma” Institute – Jaboticabal – SP, in the intention to analyze the usability of canned foodstuffs. The goal points out the social relevance, pointing out the difficulties found during the identification and the use for the bearer of blindness and low sight, as well as the risks of the absence and the bad information. Another proof turns it the contributions that design can bring to the visual deficient, through the adjusted information, stimulating the knowledge and the cognition. The experimental research had 20 visual deficients. It looked for evaluating as takes place the recognition of the product and the difficulties that were found to identify them.
