Abstract
This paper shows one way of considering the spatial characteristics of the urban environment – urban geometry – in the study of urban climate. Based on the Ph.D. Thesis entitled “Influence of Urban Geometry on Air Temperature at Pedestrian Level”, some units of urban geometry, usually studied by climatologists, are presented here. These units are able to help in architectural instrumentation for the climate study of urban areas.
