TRABALHANDO ELEMENTOS DE REPRESENTAÇÃO GRÁFICA DA ARTE AFRO-ISLÂMICA EM SALA DE AULA

Resumo

Pouco se divulga, porém grande quantidade de pessoas trazidas do continente africano e escravizadas no Brasil, era constituída por professos da religião islâmica. Os islâmicos muito contribuíram para o desenvolvimento cultural e científico da humanidade. Conhecer a cultura de matriz africana, sobretudo a islâmica, é ponto fundamental para a mudança de paradigmas em relação ao legado dos filhos da África. Conhecer essa herança nos faculta reconhecer a relevância não só folclórica ou como mão-de-obra, porém bem mais abrangente, do africano na formação da nação brasileira. Com o escopo de trazer a lume as supracitadas contribuições, fazemos alusão, numa perspectiva histórica, à religião islâmica na África, à arte africana e à arte islâmica no continente africano. Analisamos também padrões gráficos presentes na arte islâmica, a propósito, padrões que não se desvinculam da dimensão espiritual. Finalmente focalizamos a temática das culturas africanas, exemplificando, com sugestões de trabalhos de aplicação, a nossa dinâmica visando a contextualização, em sala de aula, dos assuntos abordados.

Abstract

Little is divulged, but lots of people brought from Africa and enslaved in Brazil, consisted of professing the Islamic religion. Islamic greatly contributed to the cultural and scientific development of mankind. Know the culture of African origin particularly Islam, is fundamental to the paradigm shift in relation to the legacy of the children of Africa point . Knowing this inheritance provides us not only to recognize the folk or as manual labor relevance, but much broader, African in the formation of the Brazilian nation. With the aim of bringing to light the aforementioned contributions, we allude, in a historical perspective, the Islamic religion in Africa, African art and Islamic art on the African continent. We also analyze chart patterns present in Islamic art, purpose, standards that do not detach from the spiritual dimension. Finally we focus on the theme of African cultures exemplifying, with suggestions of application works, our aim dynamic contextualization, in the classroom, the subjects covered.
