Abstract
Dynamic Geometry focuses on the teaching and learning process covering a range of graphical and mathematical disciplines in the computing environment. Beginning with the drawing of accurate and interactive geometrical models, users can count on many benefits such as: loci visualization, finding out the relationship between elements and obtaining experimental proofs. This work intends to compare several interface approaches for the use and control of animation in each of the three selected software: [1] Cabri Géomètre II, [2] The Geometer’s Sketchpad 3 e [3] Cinderella. Resulting from this comparison it is noticed that their designers similarly show different points of view as to the restrictions and the capabilities of this new kind of representation.
Key words: HCI, Animation, Dynamic Geometry
