Resumo

Os meios de representação digital têm sua função no processo projetivo em arquitetura sendo redefinido ao longo dos anos, desde os primeiros usos de desenho assistido por computador. Atualmente inicia-se uma nova fase nesse processo: a representação pós-digital. Esse tipo de representação não se refere a um avanço tecnológico, mas de um resgate da dimensão expressiva das imagens produzidas, possuindo como base de produção as colagens digitais. Rompendo com uma dualidade entre meio digital e analógico, vê-se a valorização do caráter híbrido que a plataforma digital possibilita na busca de dados, na edição e visualização de imagens. A partir de um conceito expandido de collage, foi desenvolvido um panorama do percurso histórico de tal procedimento, uma discussão dos sentidos possíveis do uso da colagem digital, base da representação pós-digital, bem como uma análise de 04 imagens de diferentes escritórios de arquitetura que se apropriam de uma mesma referência visual. A representação pós-digital, ao atualizar a discussão posta desde as vanguardas artísticas do século XX, colocam uma universo gráfico plural capaz de reintroduzir o papel estético da arquitetura nos dias atuais.

Abstract

The digital representation has its role in the projective process in architecture, being redefined over the years. Currently, a new phase in this process is beginning: post digital representation. This type of representation does not refer to a technological advance, but to a rescue of the expressive dimension of the images produced, having digital collages as the production base. Breaking with a duality between digital and analog, it can be noticed the valorization of the hybrid character that the digital platform enables in the search for data, editing and visualization of images. From an expanded concept of collage, a panorama of the historical path of such a procedure was developed, a discussion of the possible directions of the use of digital collage, the basis of post-digital representation, as well as an analysis of 04 images from different architectural offices that appropriate the same visual reference. The post-digital representation, by updating the discussion from the artistic vanguards of the 20th century, places a plural graphic universe capable of reintroducing the aesthetic role of architecture today.
