Resumo

Personagens e autoras transgêneras raramente foram protagonistas na história da arte sequencial e nos quadrinhos publicados por editoras na América Latina. Busca-se evidenciar que nos últimos seis anos, algumas quadrinistas transexuais criaram o próprio espaço nas redes sociais para falar sobre suas experiências por meio da nona arte. Esse artigo apresenta as produções Chicatrans, da argentina Gabriela Binder, e Sasha, A Leoa de Juba, da brasileira Samie Carvalho, que foram pioneiras em novas representações nas narrativas autobiográficas nos quadrinhos latinos na internet. Conclui-se que ambas têm papel fundamental no diálogo sobre a vida trans e são dotadas de discursos transfeminista ao apresentarem suas realidades. Apresenta-se um panorama da importância das ferramentas online para divulgação dessas autoras, o conceito e definições dos quadrinhos autobiográficos e do transfeminismo como base teórica para análise hermenêutica de sete webcomics correlacionadas.

Abstract

Transgender characters and authors rarely have been protagonists in the history of sequential art and published comics by Latin American publishers. It is evidenced that in the last six years, some transsexual authors have created their own space in social networks to talk about their experiences through the ninth art. This article presents the Chicatrans productions of Gabriela Binder from Argentina and Sasha, a Leoa de Juba from brazilian Samie Carvalho, who pioneered new representations in autobiographical narratives in Latin comics on the internet. It is concluded that both have a fundamental role in the dialogue on the trans life and are endowed with transfeminist discourses in presenting their realities. We present an overview of the importance of the online tools to disseminate these authors, the concept and definitions of autobiographical comics and transfeminism as a theoretical basis for the hermeneutical analysis of seven correlated webcomics.
