Resumo

Esta pesquisa buscou criar relações socioculturais trabalhadas através da sistematização dos conhecimentos que envolvem o Design de Superfície. Por meio da pesquisa científica básica e explicativa e do método histórico foi possível encontrar no estudo da história do Design e da sociedade respostas para a questão destacada neste trabalho, “Por que no Design Contemporâneo o projeto de superfícies se encontra como um tópico em discussão?”. A partir da análise das relações entre superfície e objeto foi possível identificar que o processo de alterações das superfícies já é feito há muito tempo, porém com um viés planejado foi possível somente a partir do século 19 e das revoluções ocasionadas. O Design Contemporâneo é o limiar da discussão, pois se relaciona com o momento atual de remodelação social e de práticas de projeto, das quais o redesenho da superfície se encontra em ascensão e discussão.

Abstract

This research involves sociocultural relations through the systematization of the knowledge that involves the project of surfaces. Through the proposed methodology it was possible to find in study of history of design and society answers to the question highlighted in this work: “Why in Contemporary Design, surface design has been a topic under discussion?”. From the point of view of the changes between the parts and the processes of change that can be made, it is possible that a process of transition is made to the 19th century and the revolutions caused. Contemporary Design is the process of discussion in relation to the current moment of social remodeling, and also, of the design tasks, of which surface redesign is in the ascendancy and discussion
