Resumo
Este trabalho é resultante de uma entrevista feita com a artista plástica, arte-educadora e pesquisadora Edith Derdyk, durante a qual foi dada ênfase para a questão do desenho além do suporte bidimensional. Para tanto, discorre uma leitura do desenho na obra da artista enquanto acontecimento, dentro de uma reflexão da linguagem plástica. Há a apresentação da linha e não a representação, voltando-se para uma visão contemporânea ao século XXI que valoriza a experiência. Mais do que a permanência da obra, o ato é presente ao fazer a incisão no suporte, seja este o papel ou o ar.

Abstract
This study is resulting from an interview with the artist, researcher and art teacher Edith Derdyk, which highlighted the design over the bidimensional support. Therefore, an interpretation on the artist’s work as an event was made through a reflection on the plastic language. The line, not the representation, is approached, turning to a contemporary view of the 21st century which values the experience. More than the work permanence, the act is present in the incision of the support, whether it is the paper or the air.
