Resumo

Esta iconografia retrata o universo da criação dentro da cosmovisão africana para fim de entendermos a riqueza de informações sobre os tabuleiros de Ifá. O mesmo conta com arquétipos imagéticos e simbólicos nos entalhes da madeira proporcionados em virtude dos mitos desta cultura. Os detalhes são representativamente ricos de tal forma que trazem informações a respeito da genealogia metafísica e a lógica matemática específica do povo iorubano, representada artisticamente na madeira. As informações acerca da subjetividade encontradas no artigo estão representadas de forma simbólica com relação direta com os elementos da natureza e sua criação. Neste artigo perceberemos que se destacam na visão africana as posições cardeais como morada dos Odús conhecidos na tradição africana como aqueles que estão presentes na humanidade através de presságios. O presente artigo não se trata somente de uma forma religiosa e sim de cultura e ciência que pensamos ser de grande importância para a educação.

Abstract

This iconography portrays the universe of creation within the African worldview in order to understand the wealth of information on the trays of Ifa. The same has pictorial and symbolic archetypes in the slots of the timber provided by virtue of the myths of this culture. The details are representatively rich so that provide information about the metaphysical genealogy and specific mathematical logic yorubano people, artistically represented in the wood. Information about the subjectivity found in the article are represented symbolically with direct relation to the elements of nature and creation. In this article we will realize that stand out in the African view the cardinal positions as abode of odus known in the African tradition as those that are present in humanity through omens. This article is not about only in a religious way, but culture and science that we think is of great importance to education.
