Resumo

O semestre letivo suplementar realizado na Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA) em 2020 foi o primeiro que trouxe o desafio de aulas remotas na instituição, devido à pandemia COVID-19. As mudanças na metodologia de ensino precisaram ser imediatamente modificadas. Mas quais metodologias e ferramentas conseguiriam atingir os alunos de forma ativa, autônoma e avaliativa? O presente artigo tem o objetivo de mostrar a primeira experiência de ensino online da disciplina Geometria Descritiva para estudantes de diversos cursos da Escola de Belas Artes da UFBA. Baseado no estudo de plataformas e metodologias ativas de ensino e aprendizado, foi criada uma metodologia para a disciplina que permeia entre o ensino remoto e o ensino à distância. A relação entre os assuntos e a prática na profissão definiram o caminho a ser tomado. Os resultados encontrados indicam uma maior satisfação e motivação dos alunos na disciplina, uma vez que, além da compreensão dos assuntos ensinados, eles conseguem perceber melhor a importância dos mesmos na sua prática profissional.

Abstract

The supplementary academic semester held at Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) in 2020 was the first that brought the challenge of remote classes at the institution, due the COVID-19 pandemic. Teaching methodology needed to be modified immediately. But which methodologies and tools could reach students in an active, autonomous and evaluative way? The purpose of this article is to show the first experience on online teaching of the subject Descriptive Geometry to students of several courses at the School of Fine Arts at UFBA. Based on the study of active teaching and learning platforms and methodologies, a methodology was created for the discipline that permeates between remote and distance learning. The approach was defined by the relationship between subjects and professional practice. The results indicate a better satisfaction and motivation of the student in the course, since they understand the subjects taught and the importance of the same in their professional practice.
