RESUMO
Este artigo apresenta os aspectos relevantes que fundamentaram a pesquisa de mestrado sob o título “Análise dos Aspectos Ergonômicos e da Usabilidade das Pegas e Empunhaduras das Embalagens Alimentícias”, mais especificamente aquelas fabricadas em folha-de-flandres. Primeiramente, explorou-se alguns conceitos que englobam as embalagens, como por exemplo, suas definições, a sua história, entre outros fatores; posteriormente os estudos foram direcionados para as embalagens metálicas, conhecendo então uma porcentagem de suas particularidades. Após a caracterização das mesmas, definiu-se por estudar um caso específico dentro deste segmento, onde a abordagem ergonômica foi o fio condutor de toda a pesquisa. Ao definir as metodologias mais apropriadas para verificação dos requisitos ergonômicos, realizou-se um estudo estatístico onde pode confirmar as hipóteses.

ABSTRACT
This paper shows relevant aspects that validated the research of the master degree whose titled is “Analysis of the Ergonomical Aspects and the Usability of the Grips and Caps of Food Packaging”, more specifically the ones made of Flandres leaf. First, it were explored some concepts that embody the packaging, as for example, its definitions, its history, among others; later the studies were focused into the metallic packaging, in which it became known a percentage of its peculiarities. After their characterization, it was decided to study one specific case from this segment, where the ergonomical aspect became the leading topic throughout the whole research. In defining the most appropriate methodologies to verify the ergonomical requisites, it was made a statistical study where such hypothesis could be confirmed.
