Resumo

A presente pesquisa procura verificar como está ocorrendo a presença do desenho geométrico na educação básica. Para isso, é apresentado o histórico da aparição do desenho geométrico na legislação brasileira, em que se conclui que seus conteúdos e conceitos estão presentes na disciplina de matemática. No entanto, para verificar como o ensino da matemática utiliza do desenho geométrico, são analisados os trabalhos publicados em quatro edições do Encontro Nacional de Educação Matemática (ENEM): 2010, 2013, 2016 e 2019. Foi verificado que a maioria das construções de figuras geométricas e demais conceitos do desenho geométrico, quando utilizados no ensino da matemática, ocorrem com auxílio de softwares sem que os procedimentos de construção presentes nas ferramentas sejam estudados. Ainda, foi possível verificar que dos 5152 trabalhos publicados nessas quatro edições do evento, apenas seis abordam procedimentos de construções do desenho geométrico. Com isso, é possível afirmar que o desenho geométrico está sendo esquecido no ensino da matemática, visto que o ENEM agrega o maior número de pesquisadores e professores que ensinam matemática no Brasil.

Abstract

This research verifies how is the presence of geometric drawing in basic education. For this, it is presented the history of the appearance of geometric drawing in Brazilian legislation, which concludes that the contents and concepts of geometric drawing are present in mathematics in basic education. However, to verify how mathematics teaching uses geometric drawing, we analyze the works published in four editions of the National Meeting of Mathematics Education (in Portuguese, Encontro Nacional de Educação Matemática – ENEM): 2010, 2013, 2016 and 2019. It was found that the construction of geometric figures and other concepts of geometric drawing, when used in mathematics teaching, occur with the aid of software without the construction procedures present in the tools being studied. Also, it was possible to verify that of the 5152 researches published in these four editions, only six address the procedures of construction of the geometric drawing. Thus, it is possible to state that geometric drawing is being forgotten in mathematics teaching, since ENEM adds the largest number of researchers and teachers who teach mathematics in Brazil.
