Resumo
Este artigo busca estabelecer uma discussão envolvendo, por um lado, os aportes teóricos que sustentam a Teoria da Cognição Situada e sua relação com a Criatividade e os processos criativos dos indivíduos e de comunidades, e por outro lado à aplicabilidade das técnicas de estímulo ao desenvolvimento do potencial criativo, constante da base disciplinar do tema Criatividade. Na formulação do artigo tomam parte às necessárias estruturas conceituais dos temas envolvidos, as questões relevantes que deram origem à discussão e alguns direcionamentos resultantes desse confronto teórico.

Abstract
This article aims at establishing a discussion of two themes. First, the theoretical supports of the Theory of Situated Cognition and its relation with creativity and individual and social creative processes and second, the applicability of techniques that stimulate the development of creative potentials which are part of the basis of the Creativity theme. The discussion includes the necessary conceptual structures of the themes involved, the relevant questions which gave origin to the discussion and some directions that result from the theoretical confrontation.
